This is the most famous mountain in Iceland, together with the close by waterfall Kirkjufellsfoss it is a perfect picture location. Well maintained pathways mean that you can easily wander around the sight and marvel at the natural beauty.

Wonderful rock formation, the rocks are 75 and 61 meters tall. Rising out of the artic ocean these two rock pinnacles of volcanic plugs of basalt are a truly stunning work of nature.

Stop At: Arnarstapi Center and Snjófell Restaurant, Q989+HRH, Arnarstapi, Iceland
Arnarstapi is a quirky and cute Icelandic fishing village with a rich history dating back to the vikings. Enjoy a breathtaking walk along the coastline with outstanding sea cliffs populated with an unusual variety of seabirds. See the black sand beach Djúpalónssandur with it's rich history. Once a popular area for fishing, the sea is now empty as boats have moved elsewhere. All that remains is the wreckage of a British trawler on the black sands, and several 'lifting stones'. These lifting stones would have been used to test the strength of potential fishermen and now you can try and see if you would have made the cut too!
