Day 1: Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia - ATV Quad Bike Safari

Stop At: Istanbul, Istanbul
We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and then transfer to Istanbul airport for your flight to Cappadocia.

Stop At: Cappadocia, Cappadocia
Upon arrival Cappadocia airport, our another driver will meet you at the exit gate of arrival terminal and then transfer to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Stop At: Cappadocia ATV Safari, Çavuşin, köyü, 50580 Çavuşin/Avanos/Nevşehir, Turkey
We will transfer you to ATV Quad Safari starting point and you will do one hour safari with your private ATV. This outdoor adventure will be amazing as you will be driving on the paths of amazing valleys and have the stops for picture taking. You will feel like you are on pathfinder driving on Moon. The duration of this outdoor adventure will be approx one hour.

Day 2: Hot Air Balloon Ride (Optional) - Kaymakli Underground City & Valleys Tour

Stop At: Cappadocia Balloon Tours, Göreme Açık Hava Müze Yolu Caddesi, 50180 Göreme/Nevşehir Merkez/Nevşehir, Turkey
Your hot air balloon ride experience will start before sunrise when your company collects you by mini bus. (The pick-up time is between 03.30am and 06.00am. That timing depends the sunrise time of season / your tour date.) You will then be taken for a light breakfast before going to the take-off site. Watch your balloon inflate at the sun rises and then hop in your basked for a magical 1 hour (approx.) flight over Cappadocia. Marvel at the magnificent views as your balloon slowly floats up into the sky. As the sun starts to rise on the horizon, notice the purple and pinks that illuminate the sky, setting a stunning backdrop to the environment. Look below at the Cappadocia’s signature volcanic spires, plateaus, fairy chimneys, and villages. Admire the unique geologic forces, like wind, floodwater, and volcanic activity, that have formed this beautiful region over millennia. After one hour, slowly descend back to earth, as the formations you saw from above begin to appear closer. Hold tight for a smooth landing, then celebrate your return to earth with a souvenir certificate to remember this occasion. At the end of your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

** Hot air ballooning is a fully weather-dependent activity and the Civil Aviation Authority determines whether the flight will be held. If your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, we will move your balloon ride reservation to next day or you will be refunded the cost of hot air balloon ride.

Meet the most famous family of fairy chimneys: Three beauties. These are the official symbol of both Urgup and Cappadocia.

Stop At: Cavusin, Cavusin, Cappadocia
Basically houses surround a mountain like massive rock. It is all messed up as a result of the erosion of the rocks over time and earthquakes. There are relatively new stone buildings in the front of old stone blocks. You can see domed structures that get higher towards the top of the rock as well as praying buildings, monks cave and shelters among the houses.

Stop At: Red Valley, Nevsehir Ortahisar, Nevsehir 50650 Turkey
The Red Valley is best appreciated closer to sunset, when the red and pink rock lights up with the last rays of the sun. Abandoned old cave churches dot the valley along several trails. Be sure to climb the small peak overlooking the valley to get one of the best views in the region, over the valley in one direction, and towards Mount Erciyes in the other.

Stop At: Kaymakli Underground City, Derinkuyu Turkey
Visit to Kaymakli Underground City, one of the largest and deepest underground cities of Cappadocia. Kaymakli underground city is built under the hill known as the Citadel of Kaymakli and was opened to visitors in 1964. The people of Kaymakli (Enegup in Greek) village have constructed their houses around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The inhabitants of the region still use the most convenient places in the tunnels as cellars, storage areas and stables, which they access through their courtyards. The Kaymakli Underground City has low, narrow and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts.

Stop At: Pigeon Valley, Uchisar KasabasI Nevşehir Kapadokya, Goreme 50240 Turkey
You will take a photo break at Pigeon Valley. The name comes from the thousands of pigeon houses that have been carved into the soft tuff since ancient times. Although they can be found throughout Cappadocia, they are especially numerous in this valley.

Avanos is the town of traditional pottery art, thus. Before your lunch, You will visit one of the family work-shops in Avanos to have some information about the pottery and have a kick-wheel-pottery demonstration. After this cultural experience, you will take your lunch in one of the traditional restaurants in Avanos.

The stop at Goreme Open Air Museum allows you to discover some of the best cave churches of the 530, and kitchens, wineries, storages, living rooms left from Anatolian Christians. Goreme Open Air Museum is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

You will then stop in Pasabag, where you will see the most interesting fairy chimneys, resembling those seen in the Hobbit and Smurfs.

The next stop will be at Uchisar Castle which best point for take photo of Cappadocia.

The tour will be finished approx. 04.30pm-05.00pm and we will transfer you to Cappadocia airport for your flight to Izmir.

Stop At: Ancient City of Ephesus, Selcuk 35920 Turkey
Your next visit will be the Ephesus Ancient City. Ephesus was one of the most important harbor cities in antique world and also it is mentioned in the book of Revelations as one of the seven churches. Also Celsus Library and theater in Ephesus are the other highlights. In Ephesus you will see, Celcus Library, Temple of Hadrian, the fountain of Trajan and the Theater.

You will take your lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant.

The next stop of your tour will be at the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, standing today next to Ephesus antique city.

You will visit also Isa Bey Mosque, which is a beautiful example of Seljuk Turkish architecture in an atmospheric location. It is the oldest known example of Turkish mosques with a courtyard.

After you completed your full-day Ephesus tour, we will transfer you to Izmir airport for your flight back to Istanbul.
